1. Introduction
At EBEC India (www.ebooks.ebecindia.in), we sell digital products – specifically ebooks for Class 6 to 10 students in the subjects of Science, History, and Logical Reasoning.
Because our products are digital and instantly downloadable, they cannot be “returned” like physical goods. This Refund Policy explains your rights and our process for addressing issues with your purchase.
By purchasing an ebook from EBEC India, you agree to this Refund Policy.
2. No Refunds – General Rule
Due to the digital nature of our products, we do not offer refunds or exchanges once the ebook has been downloaded or the download link has been sent to your email or mobile number.
This is consistent with standard industry practice for digital goods. When you purchase an ebook, you receive immediate access to the file. Unlike a physical book, we cannot take back a digital file.
3. Exceptions – When You May Be Eligible for a Refund or Replacement
We are committed to your satisfaction. In the following specific situations, we will provide a replacement or full refund:

5. Exchanges (Wrong Class or Subject)
If you accidentally purchased the wrong class or subject, we do not offer refunds, but we may offer an exchange under the following conditions:
- You contact us within 7 days of purchase
- You have not downloaded the original ebook more than 3 times
- You purchase the correct ebook at full price, and we refund the original purchase
Exchange process:

- Purchase the correct ebook
- We will verify and refund the original incorrect purchase
6. How to Request a Refund or Replacement
If you believe you qualify for a refund or replacement under Section 3 above, follow these steps:

- Email address used at checkout
- Phone number used at checkout
- Description of the issue (wrong file, corrupted, etc.)
- Screenshot or video of the issue (if possible)

If approved:

- Replacement: A new download link will be sent to your email within 24 hours
7. Resending Download Links (Not a Refund Issue)
If you lost your download link or it expired, do not request a refund. Simply contact us for a new link.
We will resend your download link for free under these conditions:
- You provide your Order ID or registered email/phone
- You have not exceeded the maximum number of resend requests (5 times per year per order)

8. Chargeback Policy
If you file a chargeback with your bank or payment provider without first contacting us to resolve the issue:
- Your access to the downloaded ebook will be permanently revoked
- We will dispute the chargeback with evidence of delivery (email and SMS logs)
- Your email and phone may be blocked from future purchases
We strongly recommend contacting us first. Most issues can be resolved within 24 hours.
9. Cancellation Policy
Since our ebooks are delivered instantly after payment, you cannot cancel an order once payment is completed and the download link has been generated.
However, if you have not yet clicked the download link, contact us immediately. In rare cases, we may be able to cancel within 10 minutes of purchase.
